The Mindfulness App has clear tips and instructions for beginners so that you can easily follow. If offers a five-day program of short sessions which cover how to focus on your breathing, filter out sounds, calm the mind, let go of tension, and develop appreciation. You can choose from one, three, five, 15 or 30 minutes, guided or silent meditation sessions. You can also add a selection of nature-themed background sounds to any meditation. If practicing meditation easily slips your mind, you can set reminders. Moreover, there’s a profile section with stats for those who want to keep track of their progress. Premium users are allowed to get access to meditations for challenges, focus, sleep, travel, emotions, stress relief, relationships, and body awareness.

You need to stop, breathe, and think whenever your mind is aflame. That’s what the Stop, Breathe & Think app does! It will ask you to check in with your physical and emotional feelings before you meditate. When you have done that, you can choose from three meditations which suit your current state and also choose a man (Grecco) or woman (Jamie) to guide you to practice.
If you want to choose your own meditation, click Explore. This includes the section Get Started with the basic steps for beginners to meditate. The section Progress has charts keeping track of how long you have meditated, how often you have checked in, top meditations you have chosen, and most common emotions you have reported. There are enough free meditations in this app to use regularly if you don’t want to pay for the premium version. However, if you opt for the premium version, you will get a little extra time in some standard meditations, and additional meditations and videos guiding you through yoga sessions and acupressure.
