Building a habit takes persistence. Here are some tips to use to maintain your patience.
1. Seriously commit to yourself
Any of us can be excited to think about our goals of living a healthy, happy life and then planning yoga, meditation, healthy eating and even exercise. However, not everyone can do it easily as intended.
You need to develop each habit slowly and slowly. Make a commitment to yourself to meditate every day for 30 to 60 days. During this time, you don’t need to practice any other habits.
2. Attach meditation to an old habit
A new habit is easier to develop when it is attached to one of your old habits. So you should add meditation to your morning routine like brushing your teeth, showering, walking. You can take a few minutes after showering or before breakfast to meditate. You only need to meditate for 2–5 minutes if you are just starting out, then gradually increase the time until you feel comfortable.

3. Practice the habit of meditating with someone
A sense of responsibility will make it easier for you to pursue your goals. So create responsibility for yourself by following up with someone in your meditation routine. Thanks to that, you can encourage the spirit of building your habits to a very high level.
4. Motivate yourself to reward yourself
The biggest reason why we can easily get discouraged and give up our habits is not finding motivation. We often start with ample energy when we build good habits, but over time the energy dissipates and the motivation disappears.
You can reward yourself after each meditation by pampering yourself a little with the things you like: a glass of fruit juice, delicious food, etc.
5. Make meditation a part of life
Instead of thinking that meditation is an addition to a healthier life, consider meditation an integral part of your life. This will make meditation as natural, familiar and as easy as eating or bathing every day.
There is no denying that the correct meditation will bring you many wonderful benefits to your health. So, start building a habit right now to make a positive change in your life!
